Handies 14er 2022

We hiked Handies again last weekend, partially because Emerson has never been all the way up it on his own two feet, but mostly because I convinced some other awesome families to join us for their first 14er and Handies is the best option for that in my opinion.

It rained on us all weekend, with the exception of the morning of our hike, and an hour later in that afternoon (at which point we slotted in a brief campfire). The rain was very welcome however because it kept the bugs away (which have been insane this season, everywhere we’ve gone).

The kids were troopers on the hike, despite soaking wet cold feet.

Big thanks to the other families that joined us (and sorry to Paul that the family pics happened during a single sunny moment after you had departed). Let’s do it again next year!
